Help Thy Neighbor

An eldely man in Hartford was hit by a car. As he lay in the street, bleeding, cars swerved around him and pedestrians kept on walking. No one stopped to help. It makes us ashamed to be from Connecticut.
Florida has its faults, but at least down here, if someone is sick or hurt, people will stop to help. If television stations or newspapers feature stories on people or animals in need, donors will step forward. It's a pleasant change.
On this, the 64th anniversary of D-Day, we should pause and think what would have happend all those years ago if no one had volunteered to help.....

Hi there!
I'm Tyler from Tyler's Tattles and I'm suppose to send you a surprise package from Swap n Tails. May I plese have your address. I haven't gotten it yet from Debb and sometimes it takes her a while to respond, so I'd really appreciate it if you mailed it to my mom at:
lynn@hambley.com.

Thank you and please let me know if there's anything that you really don't like,
Tyler

Hey, Muffin, We think humans everywhere should help one another. They could take lessons from us animals, couldn't they?

that is so sad. it makes me want to put the bitey on those bad people who walked by. i'm lucky that where i'm from, most people would stop to help that man and anyone else who needs it.

we're lucky to have friends on the blogosphere who are nice and caring. it gives us hope someday we'll all be like that.

I know about it, we saw it on TV. It is a sad state of affairs. I think maybe, in a small town, like the one we live in, people would be different. I am hoping so. Don't beat yourself up for what some thoughtless strangers did, just know you would help.
