Thursday Not-Quite-Thirteen

A few projects my mommy is working on :

1. Her writing project on the Pilgrims. After a lengthy hiatus she's back on the job. She' s found
new sources of information, which always makes her happy.
2. Her genealogy research. Right now she's concentrating on her great-great grandfather,
Lazar Loeb. He settled in Mississippi before the Civil War. She's finding new info and really
enjoying it, too.
3. She's crocheting me a new blanket. A kitty can never have enough blankies.
4. Vacuuming. Someone tracks litter all over the house.
5. Going through her books and getting rid of some. Ouch!
6. Cleaning the house. I try to be as much help as possible.
7. Cleaning the porch. We haven't been able to do this as the smoke from the wild fires has
made the air smell bad.
8. My six word meme from Hendrix:

Feed Me.
Pet me.
Love me.

Oooooo. Book-getting-rid-of. My OTW hates that. But she moved 11 times in 6 years, and 6 times since then and HAD to learn to let go of them! She's a teeny-tiny bit better at it now. And if it's a good book she just doesn't read, or doesn't need for research she usually tries to find it a good home.

Your words are Great! A Motto for cats everywhere!

Your mommy is really busy! I love your meme. It is perfect.

Are you safe from the fires? We dont' like the sound of those being so close you can smell them.

PS your mommy should stop tracking your cat litter all over the house...snicker.

Your 6 words are great! I hope you stay safe from the fires, they are very worrying. Books, I have books everywhere! When I need to get rid of some I try to find them good homes too:) xxx

cat litter causes problems for all of us, doesn't it?

it was in the 90s here yesterday. we're happy that it won't last. today is to be in the 70s, and then tomorrow back to cooler and damp.

mom has a few questions she asks when she sorts to downsize: is it unique? (if it is, it can be kept) can it be replaced? (if it can be, then it is given away/donated/sold/pitched)

much love

Ooo ... blankies are furry good to have. It's too hot here right now to use our blankies, but they are furry good.

Give your momma a hug from us an' ... stop trackin' litter all over the place. Yeah, yeah ... we do it, too.

wow, my mum would like to research her geneology, but it's one of those things she never gets around to doing. like decorating! her mother is a good source of info so she should start there and get it written down! x
