My mommy sleeps with piles of books and papers on her bed. Since I'm a rather large kitty I need a lot of room to stretch out. This is how I let her know at she has too much crap on the bed:
1. I stretch out on the papers. Then I stretch out my toes and flex my claws on the papers.I massage them, I crumple them, then I roll over and scent them.
2. The books are next. I wait till 2 am,when the house is quiet, then I take my huge paws and knock the books off the bed, one by one. They make such a nice thud when they land.
3. Now that the bed is cleared, I curl up next to Mommy and purr. She reaches over and pets
me and we snuggle.
4. In the morning, when she discovers the carnage, I make sure I'm nowhere to be found!

G'day from downunder,
You are such a creative kitty! We might just have to borrow some of your methods to sort out stuff at our place - our mum has way too many books in the bedroom for our liking...How's a kitty supposed to climb around on the furniture when there are books in the way!

Good work Muffin! FAZ
This is a great service you do for you mom, though.
hehe, good moves! Beans think we do these thigs by accident - they have NO IDEA that we are capable of such careful planning and execution of actions x
ha ha ha good work Muffin! It sounds like you're just trying to make things comfy for your mommy to sleep. She can't fault you for that!
Hi Mindi! No snow in San Francisco either, but we did have a ginormous storm over the last few days, as you noticed! I think the beans are behind it. I think they control the big faucet in the sky. I complained quite a bit when the sideways rain and screeching wind kept me inside. There was no power for a while but I served as the electric blanket for my people when they got chilly. This led to lots of treats! Also lots of games with the feather toy. Power is back so I went outside and ran around for a few hours. Now I am going to take a nap. Happy New Year!
and for all she knows, she could haf knocked them off in her sleeps, heehee ~The FLuffy TRibe
Oh what a relief to know I'm not the only one! Every day my bed is covered in stuff and every morning the floor is covered in the same stuff. I never learn! And I don't even have a cat to blame, more's the pity:) xxx
What your Mom needs to realize is that the bed is YOURS. You graciously allow her to share it with you, but it must be arranged to your liking.
That is a very good way to make room for yourself Muffin! I do not want to push Mom or my Daddy off my bed tho because they are warm and it gets very cold here at night.
Hi there I am glad you stopped by to visit and I hope you come back soon, and try joining in on the swaps too and the contests....I like your blogging,..meow...
hey Fat Cat Muffin! I got an ward for you! x
