We've been really sad here. One of the foster kittens, Ivory, was killed by a pit bull on October 13. Two boys were walking the dogs off-leash. They let them run into our side yard. One dog went straight for Ivory. One of the boys had to beat the dog tmake him let go. Ivory died two hours later of massive internal injuries. She was only ten weeks old.
Mommy called the police. The officer that came told us that this was the second cat killing in two weeks by that same set of dogs. Mommy found out where they lived and called Animal Care & Control. She submitted an affadavit and is planning to take legal action. It won't bring ivory, my little Siamese sister back, though.
We'll let you know what happens.

WE hope they do something ti that bad dog! We are so sorry about Ivory. It is unfair that she had to come to a painful end!
We are sorry about what happened to Ivory. It should not have happened! The dog should have been on a leash and with someone who could control it. Purrs and woofs.
We agree, it should not have happened.
It only takes one dog off a leash for a very few seconds and the damage is forever done.

I am so glad your Mommy is taking action. It won't bring sweet Ivory back, but hopefully it will prevent this from happening again.

Poor Ivory! This is horrible. I am glad that your Mom is taking action to try to prevent this from happening to some other poor animal. I hope that something is done to prevent those people from letting their dogs off the leash ever again.
What an awful thing to happen, poor little Ivory. We hope that AC do something to stop the dogs attacking any more animals.

We are so very sorry for poor little Ivory.
We are sorry for the dogs too, what rotten owners not to keep them on a leash and allow them to go in other peoples yards and attack their pets.
How sad. We hope your Mom can do something to keep those dogs from ever doing something like this again. (((Hugs)))

We hope Animal Control takes some action against the owners of these dogs. They are the ones at fault for not having the dogs on a leash.
It never should have happened, but at least your mom is following up so it can't happen again. There are so many things wrong with that situation that point to irresponsible dog owners. Purr on your mom to be strong and stand up for Ivory.

oh dear. I'm so sorry to hear this. those dogs need to be reviewed right away and taken from those owners right now. Obviously they are not being safely trained and raised.
