Rest in Peace

Hi. It's me, Midi. Mommy decidd to fill everyone in on what has happened. Granny died on New Year's Day. Mommy found her collapsed on the floor. She called 911 and the paramedics tried their best, but it was too late. Granny had suffered a massive heart attack.
The house was full of rescue personnel and men in green (sheriff's deputies). They made Mommy wait outside and I hid in my sack and peeked out occasionally. But Muffin, he saw it all.
It was horrible - Granny lying so still, the strangers walking around and Mommy outside crying.
We all miss Granny, but Muffin ouldn't handle the loss of another of his people. A long-time diabetic, he suffered acute renal failure and passed away on January 7.
Mommy wound up in the hospital after that. I stayed with a neighbor. She was a nice lady.Every time I squeaked she gve me lettuce. Squeak! Squeak!
Mommy is going to get a new kitty. Then we'll all share the blog.
Hope to be back soon.
Midi

Midi, we're so sorry for the loss of your Granny and Muffin, and for all of the pain that you and your Mommy have been through. That was lovely of your neighbour to look after you while your Mommy was sick. We hope you guys just take plenty of time to heal, but we're looking forward to hearing from you and your new cat sibling later on...

Yes, we can't wait to see Raja. From what Mom Tracy said, she is a dark kitty with green eyes. And she is four years old.
Wasn't that so sweet of Midi and Mom Tracy to adopt her. Raja ran up and down the house for several days straight after she was first brought home.
We can't wait for them to start blogging again.
Hi there, Midi, we've missed you.
Love & Purrs,
