We saw the Goodyear blimp! One of the blimps is based in Pompano Beach, about an hour south of here. It flew in figure-eights around our neighborhood for two hours, scouting locations for two televised sporting events: a golf tournament and a marathon race.
The blimp was pretty. It was silver, with a blue nameplate that said "Goodyear" in yellow letters. When Mommy heard the chutt-chutt sound she knew what it was. She grabbed Midi and I and her camera and ran outside. She took a lot of pictures but her camera isn't very good.
Midi chutt-chutted rght back at the blimp. Maybe she thought it was a gigantic guinea pig. I got bored afer a while and stated chasing lizards, so Mommy took us back inside.
She was really impressed with the blimp. At least now I know what she's talking about when she calls me "Goodyear".

Well I don't think that was very nice at all to call you a blimp. I think you need to leave her a "present" in her shoe.
I do like the part about chasing lizards. Yippee!

When my mom was little a million years ago she used to see the Goodyear blimp every summer. She'd wave at it and run after it and stuff. She said it's very cool that you all saw it!
Momma says every year is a good year, as long as efurryone is happy and healthy.
