June News

The painters finally left. The patio furniture and all the plants are back outside and I'm free to work on my tan. I like my fur to be a specific shade of orange, so I need sunlight. Best of all, a big curly-tailed gecko ran by and I chased him. He ran under the door to the storage room, though.
I'm glad Ben has taken over Suz's blog. We miss her, but it's good to hear from her family.
Today was the anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill. Mommy is working on a book onthe Revolutionary War, so that anniversary was a big deal to her.

Thank you forrr visiting me at my new bloggie. I have neverrr seen a gecko beforrre. We have blue bellied lizarrrds that scourrr the sides of houses in the neighborrrhood. I had a bad experrrience with a toad once--it made my mouth foam--so I associate lizarrrds with toads. I won't hunt them. Don't know why--maybe because theirrr cold blooded!

My sister Josie loves to watch the lizards! We think two are living on our deck. As for toads, mom is pretty sure Josie licked one in our garage one time. She was foaming everywhere and mom could follow the trail right back to this corner in our garage that she saw a toad in one time.
